Having trouble receiving e-mails after installing Norton Anti-Virus 

 

Norton Anti Virus makes the following changes to your e-mail account:

  • The Incoming Mail Server changes from mail.OTENET.gr to 127.0.0.1

  • The Account Name changes from username to username/mail.OTENET.gr.

 
To correct the above changes change the Incoming Mail Server to mail.OTENET.gr and erase the
/mail.OTENET.gr from the Account Name field, leaving just your username.

 Attention! The solution to the above problem bypasses the virus scanning procedure. To find out different ways of scanning your e-mails for viruses please visit Symantec's web site.
